1. Senior Medical Writer
Location: Remote (Global)
Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract
Experience: 2+ years in medical writing
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our team. You’ll work directly with researchers to transform their studies into clear, compelling manuscripts ready for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit original research manuscripts, review articles, case reports, and other scientific documents
- Collaborate with researchers to understand their data and tell their story effectively
- Ensure all work adheres to journal guidelines, ethical standards, and industry best practices
- Mentor junior writers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay current with developments in medical writing and academic publishing
Requirements
- Advanced degree in medical sciences, public health, or related field
- 2+ years of medical writing experience, preferably with a focus on peer-reviewed publications
- Proven track record of published papers in reputable journals
- Excellent command of English (native or equivalent proficiency)
- Familiarity with ICMJE guidelines, CONSORT, PRISMA, and other reporting standards
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
Preferred
- Experience with systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Statistical knowledge
- Experience as a journal editor or peer reviewer
- Additional language skills
